We all have busy days and you might think to yourself, "I don't have the time to commit an act of kindness." Or there are days when we are sick and aren't able to get out of bed, so how can we perform an act of kindness from our beds? It's actually quite simple. There are sites such as:

All you have to do when you go to these sites is choose a cause (or causes) you're interested in and just click. It only takes a few minutes of your time and is incredibly easy. Today I took five minutes while drinking my coffee to:

-Preserve 7.4 square feet of rainforest
-Helped provide free mammograms
-Preserve 11,000 square feet of big cat territory

That's all there is to it!

October 21, 2012 - 365

Here we go, let's see if I can make myself happier by committing random acts of kindness. I plan on trying to do something everyday. Here are todays acts of kindness:

-Let someone go in front of me at the checkout at the grocery store
-Put the carriage back where it belonged
-Helped bring groceries in from the car
-Donated $1 to Western MA Meals on Wheels program
-Smiled at cashier and made sure to thank her for her help

See! It's not a hard thing to do, trust me, even the smallest acts count.

How I'm feeling: I had 3 panic attacks today, but after listing everything I did today, I feel great! So for the next 364 days I am committing myself to this plan. Please join me! There are plenty of lists out there showing acts of kindness for all ages. Please share your experiences and how they made you feel. Something small can make a huge change in and another persons life.
